Earning The Push is a weekly show for wrestling fans to do the two things they love - talk about the business, and about what they would do if they were in charge. Broadcaster Jack Murley and professional rugby player Charlie Beckett will be analysing what’s happening across the wrestling world, and getting you involved with the fantasy booking of angles from the past, present and future. It’s a show that’s open to everyone - and we want you to get involved. TWITTER: @charlie_beckett @jack_murley EMAIL: earningthepushpodcast@hotmail.com

Wrestling returns are like buses - you wait ages for some, and then three come along at once.
From CM Punk on AEW Dynamite to Karrion Kross and Dexter Lumis on Raw and Smackdown respectively, some big names made some big impact by reappearing on the scene this week - and we break it all down on this week's show.
We also discuss why Ciampa is shining on Raw; whether Darby Allin is the most underappreciated member of the AEW roster - plus Undertaker in Cardiff, why Tony Khan needs to slow his booking down, and a guest appearance by Otto as well!

It felt like the Triple H era of creative well and truly started this week, with two shows that felt like a breath of fresh air.
Up first, WWE rocked Nashville with a Summerslam for the ages, then Monday Night Raw went commercial-free for an hour with the focus on the... wait for it... US Title.
So this week's show focuses on all of that - from the surprise returns to the creative changes to the use of a tractor to create one of the most visually-stunning scenes that WWE has had in years.
Plus analysis of Adam Cole's turns on the Young Bucks, why one of us isn't feeling Jungle Boy's current character - and why dog walking etiquette is always a must!

Sometimes, wrestling is too bizarre to even pretend that it's normal.
This week is a good example - with seven days that include barbed-wire matches, feuds about testicles, and a very, very strange speech about safe havens!
So, there's plenty for us to get into this week - including why Hook could be taking his first title, Riddle-Rollins at Summerslam and why FTR are the best thing going in wrestling today.

Does the man make the briefcase, or the briefcase make the man?
Ever since winning the Money in the Bank briefcase, Theory has been on a roll - and shone on this week's Smackdown and Raw outings as the build to Summerslam continues to heat up.
We get into that on this week's show - along with why the Judgement Day stable has done nothing for anyone involved, why Drew and Sheamus' sword silliness needs to stop, shark-cages in AEW (yes, really!) and loads more on a cracking episode!

Episode 58: The Best and Worst Gimmick Changes Ever
Friday Jun 10, 2022
Friday Jun 10, 2022
Bradshaw to JBL?
Mark Calloway to The Undertaker?
The Ringmaster to Stone Cold Steve Austin?
We're on our holidays this week - but that hasn't stopped us getting together for a special episode of the show, looking at the best and worst gimmick changes of all time. We're talking about the ones that altered the wrestling business for ever, and the ones we wish had never happened at all.
We also chat about what constitutes a gimmick change versus a turn, what makes some more memorable than others - and whether some gimmicks that have worked in the past could ever be a success again in 2022.

It clocked in at more than four hours in length, and definitely delivered value for money.

From backstage drama with MJF to unique (if unusual) stipulations to medics who clearly don't know what they're doing, we get into the weeds with our instant reaction to AEW's latest pay-per-view offering!
