Well, that was some week.
Brock Lesnar went into WWE Day 1 on a collision path with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship - and left with the WWE Championship, having ended Big E's reign in a Fatal Fiveway Match after Reigns tested positive for COVID.
Just days later, Bron Breakker won the NXT Championship - and 24 hours after that, Hangman Adam Page and Bryan Danielson put on another classic for the AEW Championship. Throw in yet more releases, and it's an eventful few days for us to discuss on the podcast - which also includes sheds, more of your thoughts on the state of wrestling, a new fantasy booking challenge... and what else a 'premium live event' could be?!

On the one hand, there's Brock Lesnar; on the other, there's Roman Reigns - and with both men set to collide at WWE Day 1, the ex-ECW owner is putting in some pitch-perfect performances as the conflicted ally of both. Sometimes, a week in wrestling is defined by two moments.
On Smackdown, we saw Roman Reigns turn on Paul Heyman, as the Tribal Chief dispatched the ex-ECW boss with a perfect Superman Punch that ended (or did it?) a business relationship dating back to before Summerslam last year.
And on Dynamite, Adam Page and Bryan Danielson went the distance in a sixty-minute AEW Championship match that ended in a draw - a finish that got a LOT of people talking.
